Here is a clock that may not necessarily be the ideal clock design you are looking for. But as far as making use of nixie tubes, it does seem to serve its purpose. Making use of six nixie tubes which are fitted perfectly in the concrete block provides and unorthodox way of showing you the time. Though the visualization may need some work, improvements are bound to come on as well if this device would ever be considered for purchase.
This fully functioning prototype uses vintage Z560M Nixie tubes, and it’s version 0.01 of Luxembourg designer Daniel Kurth’s Nixie Concrete idea. I doubt though if this would be recommended clock to have with little toddlers running around in the house or if you have fragile floors.
